The Snow is Gone...Until Next Season

This last winter was long and dreary for many Minnesotans. For my family and close friends, the extended season was AWESOME. Thanks to my patient and loving husband, I've learned to snowboard over the past few winters and, in turn, have started to cherish snow...even crave its return! So this winter's extra few weeks of snow allowed us to "shred" that much longer.

Now don't get me wrong, the current green grass and sprouting leaves are exhilarating and a special sign of the summer to come (truly an important, yet brief season for many Minnesotans). However, in honor of the now-melted pow, I've started an illustration of a female snowboarder. Perhaps this drawing is a visual for possible goals next season. :)
